Holiday Gigs and Gifts this December!

I’ll be playing holiday tunes in three December events. All of these events are covering multiple end-of-year holidays, not limited to Christmas.

On Sunday December 3, it’s the 9th year of the now-old-enough-to-count-as-a-tradition Holiday Song Share, presented by Concerts In Harmony. It’s free, and you’ll see and hear dozens of LA’s favorite acoustic musicians covering dozens of holiday songs and singing their own songs too. I myself will be covering the haunting December song “Marley’s Plea” by Jaspar Lepak, and singing one of my own goofy numbers as well. It starts at 3 and I’ll probably be one of the first performers.

When: December 3, 3-6:30pm
Where: Old Oak Cellars Winery, 2620 E Foothill Blvd, Pasadena, 91107
(Their entrance is hard to spot, but when you see the sign for the massage place, you’re on the right corner.)
How much: Zero dollars! Bring some food or drink to share if you can, but that’s not required. Anything goes.

Then, on Saturday December 16 at 8 and Sunday December 17 at 2, I’ll be making lots of music in Theatre of NOTE’s Holiday Spectacle. I won’t be doing any of my own stuff—just joining various configurations of musicians performing rock, blues and holidays songs. (You’ll see me mostly drumming and playing the uke.) It’s a big grab-bag of holiday-themed entertainment—sing-alongs for the whole family, a dancing kick-line of Santas, and dreidels for the whole audience are promised!

When: December 16 at 8 pm and December 17 at 2pm
Where: Theatre of NOTE, 1517 Cahuenga, Hollywood, 90028
(Free street parking available in neighborhoods south of Sunset, but as always, read the signs carefully)
How much: $20. Food and drink will be available for purchase.

It’s gift-giving time! Make your friends laugh by giving them a CD or two of my dorky songs. You can get physical copies here…

…and download digital copies at iTunes and all the usual places.
