FIRST CONCERT APPEARANCE IN TWO YEARS! SATURDAY MARCH 19 IN THE FOOTHILLS! PLUS A FREE ONLINE EVENT MONDAY MARCH 21.

Hi, folks! Can you believe it? My last Southern CA concert appearance was in March 2020. Now we’re coming’ back, baby! I and several other musicians will do a bunch of animal-related songs this Saturday, March 19, at the charming Verdugo HUUT (pronounced hoot) acoustic series, at the Universalist Unitarian Verdugo Church, 4451 Dunsmore Ave, Glendale 91214. I’ve played here before and it’s a great, fun, relaxed (non-religious) vibe. The show’s at 7pm Pacific; here’s a link to info and advance tickets. (Tix are $12.50, and you can get them at the door as well.) And here’s a map. Hope to see you there!

And for those who like their humorous music in the comfort of their own homes, on Monday March 21, I’ll be hosting a live-streaming concert/panel discussion on The Funny Side Of Folk at 7pm Pacific on FAR-West’s YouTube channel. Five excellent (and funny) (and somewhat famous) musicians will join me in playing songs and having a talk about humor in music. You can put questions and such in the Comments window, and we’ll pay attention to them! It’s completely free and a great way to pass a Monday evening. Join us at youtube.com/farwestconference, and at 7pm you should be able to click on the window to watch the show. You can ask us anything, and finally express all the things you were reluctant to say to my face. Please join us!
