A lot of Phil in October
Hi everybody! I spent the summer acting at Knott’s Berry Farm. Now it’s time to get back into the funny music business. I’m starting by doing a few songs at one of my favorite places to play, The Songwriter Serenade, at Matt Denny’s Ale House in Monrovia. It’s Tuesday October 9 at 7pm, and there will be some excellent out-of-town musical guests; Jaeger & Reid are a duo I’m especially fond of. No cover and no minimum; just show up and buy whatever you want to eat and drink. Click here for details. (If you want the web site instead of the Facebook event, click here.)
Knott’s Spooky Farm
If you’re heading to Knott’s Berry Farm during the daytime on any Saturday or Sunday in October, or on Halloween itself, drop by the historic Bird Cage Theatre and check out the Spooky Storytelling show, featuring me playing piano and assorted weird percussion instruments. It’s aimed at kids and is great fun.

Silvie’s podcast
My magical wife Silvie continues to knock ’em dead with her second year of the podcast The 13 Days of Halloween. This year’s theme: Invisible–stories by voices from the other side. I provide most of the music and some of the acting and writing. Episodes drop every day, October 19-31.
