March shows Of All Types of Delights!

Thursday March 9: The return engagement of Kirsten Vangsness’s (“Garcia” on Criminal Minds) one-woman show Mess, featuring Phil on guitar.

Kirsten is extending her sold-out run at Theatre of NOTE (March 9-10-11) and on this night I’m joining her. It’s a wondrous, touching, critically-acclaimed experience; you won’t be sorry. Get your tickets well in advance. 1517 Cahuenga in Hollywood; 8pm.

Friday March 10: Artnight Pasadena

All free! From 6-10pm, enjoy a free evening of art, music and entertainment at 17 of Pasadena’s most prominent arts and cultural institutions. I’ll be appearing at the Pasadena Central Library (285 E Walnut St) between 8 and 9 pm, along with the captivating bundle of energy Aireene Espiritu, the esteemed Severin Browne and others. Free shuttles between venues! You can’t go wrong with this event.

Saturday March 11: JC and Laney at Coffee Gallery Backstage

This is a prime intimate venue and JC and Laney are a great act from Arizona. Using only an acoustic guitar and two voices, they will rock you like the Scorpions. Their opening act will consist of several of their local friends, including me, doing a few songs each. This promises to be a great show. 2029 N. Lake Ave, Altadena. 7pm.

Saturday March 18: A Benefit Garden Concert for AIDS Lifecycle 2017

1112 South Pasadena Avenue
Pasadena CA  91105
6-9pm
I’ve played at this event for several years now. An excellent full dinner, dandy entertainment and a great cause, naturally. Come and make a donation so my unstoppable friend Greg can bike from SF to LA to end AIDS! I’ll be the first of several musical acts in this lovely back yard setting.
RSVP before March 11 by emailing Greg at gregcarlsson@sbcglobal.net or by calling Greg at (626) 399-1966.
