That’s right, dawgs. Phil Ward opens for Patrice Rushen in 5 days.
Pretty much, anyway. I am the opening act on a triple bill whose headliner is Grammy-nominated R&B legend Patrice Rushen (“Forget Me Nots”). Even better, it’s an intimate concert at a house in Pasadena. And best of all, it’s for a worthy cause!
SATURDAY MARCH 9:
A benefit concert and dinner for the Ride To End AIDS
Private home in Pasadena / 5 to 8 pm / $25 donation suggested, but “nobody will be turned away due to lack of funds”
My astounding buddy Greg Carlsson is doing it again: raising funds to participate in the AIDS/LifeCycle Ride To End AIDS. He has bicycled so many miles to combat AIDS that I think he’s been to the sun and back, mathematically. Greg’s holding a party in Pasadena; your donation gets you dinner (with drinks) and a show!
The show features musical guests Me, Greg himself, and of course Patrice Rushen. Did I mention that I’m opening for Patrice Rushen?
Click here to get all Greg’s AIDS/LifeCycle site, with show info, donation info and contact info.
Or cut right to the chase–email Greg and tell him you’re coming; he’ll send you the address in Pasadena: gregcarlsson@sbcglobal.net
THANK YOU for visiting my site. Thank you for anything you’re doing to fight AIDS and/or promote equality and/or spread love in general. Keep going; it’s all worth it.
Your pal,
Phil Ward
